Q: What is sound healing?
A: Sound therapy focuses on the vibration of the sound and its impact on our physical and emotional state of being. Sound healing practice dates back to the ancient civilizations such as Lemuria, ancient Egypt and Greece, Tibet and Native Americans. The ancients knew about the efficacy of sound as a healing modality.
Q: How does it work?
A: Music is an essential part of our human life.
Do you remember a time when you heard your favorite song and you were lit up right away? You may agree that some songs might bring back certain memories and emotions associated with them whether they are happy or sad.
Vibration makes frequencies (number of vibrations per second) and a collection of similar frequencies make music.
Sound therapy focuses on the vibration of the sound and its impact on our physical and emotional state of being.
Scientific research has proven that on a microscopic level our cells are vibrating and creating a specific sound. The vibration of the sound will affect; the brain waves and the vibration of the cells in our organs and nervous system.
When the brain waves are altered, we can experience deep relaxation and stress relief, and emotional healing.
By matching the resonance of the sound to the resonance of cells in our body, the energy starts to flow in sync with your natural rhythm, bringing you to your wholeness of being.
